The Mechanics
...the right way goes a long way

The term mechanics refers to movements. Good mechanics tend to yield two significant benefits:

1 - Minize the risk of injury;
2 - Maximize the possiblity of good results.

In addition to movements that are not excessively strenuous on the joints, another important, if not most important, factor of good mechanics is balance. Once an athlete can consistently mimic optimal movements and retain perfect balance, he or she will have achieved good mechanics.
